        On October 31, 2023, the GDCC 2023 Green Data Center Technology Conference was held at the Beijing State Guest Hotel. Googol participated with the exhibition of open-frame diesel generator sets and containerized silent diesel generator set models specifically designed for data centers.


        The conference welcomed over 200 attendees, including leaders from associations such as the China Communications Enterprise Association and the Beijing Association of Science and Technology Innovation Service Center. Representatives from major companies like China Mobile Planning Department, China Unicom Network Department, Century Interconnect, Qinhuai Data, Zhonglian Data, China Gold Data, Wanrun Digital, KeHua Data, Huaxin Consulting & Design Institute, and Xiongan Cloud Network attended the event. The discussions centered around topics like high-quality development of data center computing infrastructure and strategies for achieving low-carbon development in the era of intelligent computing.

        With over thirty years of experience in the diesel generator industry, Googol stands as one of the longestoperating domestic enterprises in this specialized field.         The D-type engines tailored for data center emergency diesel generator sets are developed based on the mature platform of Googol's Q-series engines. These engines, designed from the outset with a modular structure, significantly enhance the universality of components such as cylinder-piston assemblies, fuel systems, and parts for routine maintenance. This design approach substantially reduces carbon emissions on the manufacturing end while effectively lowering the training costs for operation and maintenance personnel, as well as reducing the variety and quantity of parts in inventory.

        The engines adopt a design with high displacement, low lift power, and low exhaust temperature, leveraging high-pressure common rail and high-pressure ratio turbochargers to facilitate more thorough fuel combustion. The fuel consumption can reach as low as 186.5g/kWh, enhancing fuel efficiency at the utilization end to reduce carbon emissions. Simultaneously, complementary green technologies such as tail gas treatment systems have reached a highly mature stage, further optimizing pollutant emission control. Moreover, Googol has actively explored and invested in diverse fuels such as methane, hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol, among others, in an attempt to diversify engine fuel options.
